Welcome to the website of Dustin M. Ledbetter, an independent sole proprietor operating via genjokoba.com (hereinafter referred to as the "Service Provider", "we", "us", or "our"). By booking a service, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully to ensure a smooth and successful project.
The Service Provider agrees to perform the work outlined in the agreed-upon estimate or booking request. Any additional work requested on-site that falls outside the original scope will be subject to additional charges and may require a separate appointment.
Flat-Rate Services: For standard tasks booked at a flat rate, the advertised price is what you will pay, provided the work falls within the standard scope. If unforeseen complications arise (e.g., non-standard framing, hidden obstructions) that require additional labor or materials, we will halt work and discuss any price adjustments before proceeding.
Custom Estimates: For larger or custom projects, we provide estimates based on the visual information available at the time. These are approximations, not guaranteed final prices. Unforeseen complications (e.g., hidden water damage, code violations) may alter the final cost. We will always communicate any price changes before proceeding with the affected work.
Materials: Unless explicitly stated otherwise in your booking or estimate, the client is responsible for the cost of all materials, fixtures, and hardware required for the job.
Payment: Payment is due in full immediately upon completion of the work unless a prior arrangement has been made. Invoices are issued electronically, and we accept Cash or any of the over 100 different payment methods supported by Stripe.
Access: The client must ensure that we have access to the property and a clear, safe work area at the scheduled time. Please secure all pets and keep children away from the work zone.
Cancellations: We value your time and ours. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of $50.
Guarantee: We take pride in our work. We guarantee our labor for 30 days from the date of completion. If an issue arises related to our workmanship during this period, we will correct it at no additional labor cost.
Pre-existing Conditions: We are not liable for damage resulting from pre-existing conditions, including but not limited to structural deterioration, faulty original wiring, or compromised plumbing.
Permits: The client is responsible for obtaining any necessary homeowner association (HOA) approvals or municipal permits required for the work, unless specifically agreed otherwise.
When booking mounting services, the following additional conditions apply:
Wall Integrity: We rely on standard stud-finding equipment to locate secure mounting points. We are not responsible for damage caused by hidden hazards (e.g., obscured plumbing, electrical wiring, or HVAC ducts) that cannot be detected by standard surface-level scanning.
Hardware: If you provide your own mount or hardware, you assume responsibility for its quality and weight capacity. If a provided mount is deemed unsafe for the intended application, we reserve the right to refuse the installation.
Weight Limits: We will install items according to the manufacturer's specified weight limits and the structural limits of your walls (e.g., drywall toggles vs. wood studs). We are not liable for failure if the client later places weight on the installation exceeding those safety limits.
When booking appliance diagnostic or repair services, the following additional conditions apply:
Diagnostic Fee: All appliance troubleshooting appointments incur a base diagnostic fee of [Insert Fee Amount, e.g., $75], regardless of whether the appliance is ultimately repairable or if the client chooses to proceed with the repair. If you choose to hire us for the repair, this fee will be applied toward the final labor cost.
Parts and Delays: If specific replacement parts must be ordered, the repair will be paused. We are not responsible for manufacturer backorders or shipping delays.
Repairability: Troubleshooting an appliance does not guarantee it can be fixed. Some appliances may be damaged beyond reasonable repair, or parts may be obsolete.
Warranties: Servicing an appliance may void existing manufacturer warranties. It is the client's responsibility to verify their warranty status prior to booking. We provide no guarantee on the lifespan of an appliance following a repair, beyond the standard labor guarantee on the specific part replaced.
